look @ the picture above, do you see the change or is it just me? ithink when an artist explores their dark side, their is nothing wrong with that, only because its true; each & every individual on earth has a dark side, no matter how "Good" or "Proper" they portray themselves to be. so when Rihanna came out with "Good Girl Gone Bad" in the summer of 07' pple loved it, loved it so much it went multi-platinum, she found her niche & theirs nothing wrong with that. but as the years progressed, we saw Rihanna in maddddddddddddd tabloid pictures, her image was getting somewhat darker & darker. now idont want anyone to confuse me criticizing her the wrong way, because this is probably just how she feels, just like the kid you knew in school for five years turned emo, shit happens. what im trying to get @ is the fact that when she explored her dark side the first time, their was nothing wrong with it. Now she's depicting it even STRONGER & she's singing it in her new song "Russian Roulette." for those of you that don't know what "Russian Roulette" means, (its a potentially lethal game of chance in which participants place a single round in a revolver, spin the cylinder, place the muzzle against their head and pull the trigger. "Russian" refers to the supposed country of origin of the game and roulette to the element of risk-taking and the spinning of the revolver's cylinder being reminiscent of spinning a roulette wheel.) the song title itself is alarming, but the picture is what is triggering pple. she is depicted with barbed wire around her torso & her hand seems to be hanging from a rusty chain. i'm confused, ithought that when Rihanna "Re-Emerged" she was coming back to be a role model for young girls who also have been in domestic violence relationships. anyway, my personal opinion is that Rihanna doesn't necessarily have to change who she is, because we have the right to believe in whatever we want. (incase you've lived under a rock, we do have hatred groups out there ex. KKK & pple that don't believe in god ex. Atheists) but what ido feel is that she should be more aware of what she is portraying to the public, because she does have little girls looking up to her, so do you want them growing up playing a game of "Russian Roulette"? doesn't matter what you think of her talent etc. because @ the end of the day her words mean just as much to the average person as Jay-Z's words would, she is definitely a powerful force in our society today. icould listen to the song over a million times & never think about any type of suicidal thoughts, but their are people out there who are very easily influenced by the media today, & those are the kids that are gonna follow in any celebrities footsteps because they are just that vulnerable. being an artist today doesn't mean you just do whatever you want, in my opinion you have to think about your fans first, & if a girl kills herself, then her mom goes on ABC News & says "She was playing a game of Russian Roulette" then what?

idk about everyone else, but 9/11 never really hit me. imean ialways felt sympathy for those who lost loved ones & what not, but inever really felt saddened by what happened that day, iam very ashamed to say. ithink it was because iwas so young, when all this was going down ihad absolutely no idea what any of it meant. iwas in like 3rd grade, ijust remember a lot of teachers scrambling A LOT of kids going home early, & a handful of people crying. if iwas as wise as iam now back then, it would've definitely had a much bigger impact on me. so long story short, iwatched a bunch of specials on 9/11 today most of them on the history channel & it was something so unbelievable, ifelt like it was something ihad never seen before. like just imagine being there, iwould've thought it was the end of life PERIOD . those buildings were SHOOTING with flames, countless amounts of people were jumping from so high in the sky; and I'm not afraid to say ished a tear. those poor innocent people, just trapped so high in the sky in like 2,000 degree flames just cooking up there. idont wanna reflect on it too much more because its saddening me again, but ifeel we should honor all of those people, and have a great amount of respect for those firefighters who risked their lives. 9/11 was just unnacceptable on so many levels, and was a prime example of non-humanity. inever understood what goes on in the minds of "Jihad-ists". why would God want you to kill his children? who told you that America was the enemy? what kind of twisted idea would make you take your own life & many others? Religion is a crucial issue. some people just believe non sense, just my opinion. in this world we are all equal, if somebody isn't doing right by God it isn't your responsibility to take them out, my knowledge indicates the God didn't have a hitman. if you think about it Religion is like 90% of what's wrong w. the world today. everybody wants to believe in something different, but there honestly is nothing wrong with that because your free to do that. it becomes an issue though when you believe in a religion that motivates you to kill innocent people in the name of God, that is shameful and absurd. how can you even put gods name in such an evil thing? oh & it gets even fucking better, now were letting terrorist attackers out of jail because they have "medical conditions" so fucking what ? half of the US doesn't even have health care now we have sympathy for terrorists? smh ! but whadever what do iknow right ? check the video below. hopefully it humbles everyone, & you realize that life can be a whole lot worse .

So as most of you know today is August 25th , the day of Aaliyah's passing 8 years ago . Since 12:00a.m last night me and countless amounts of other fans have been working on twitter to reach our goal, we wanted Aaliyah to be the #1 trending topic for the whole day, by the next morning there her name was filling not only the #1 but the #2 spot on twitters Trending topics . the search box was flodded with tweets from fans all over the globe expressing their feelings and memories . it was something so amazing, then iwent upstairs to eat something reele quick & iturned on the radio & iheard Aaliyah's "Are Your Ready" song playing . DJ Mr.Cee was on Hot 97 playing non-stop Aaliyah for an hour straight , instead of the throwback @ noon, it was "Aaliyah @ noon" . it ddnt stop there though, the blog sites i check on a regular basis had posted something about Aaliyah from the big name blogs to the small ones , everybody was taking the time out to remember BabyGirl . Then when isigned back on twitter isigned on to find Famous Celebs. such as Diddy , Cassie , Solange , LaLa , Ciara , LeToya , Tyreese , Brandy , Monica , JoJo , Mya , Shree (Atlanta Housewives) , Perez Hilton , Sean Kingston , Michelle Williams (DC) , Lauren London , Tila Tequila ; ya'll ican go on forever with this list , there was so many people showing Aaliyah love its ridiculous . iturned on the TV just as 106 & park came on , & they basically dedicated the whole show to her , during the show they were showing tweets from fans posting their favorite memories of Aaliyah asking Celeb's who made guest appearances on the show what their favorite memory was & they also played "Miss You" . soon as that was over iturned to VH1 to find them playing ALLLL of Aaliyah's videos . its now 8:47p.m the day is almost over & people are still going hard man , its really an eye opener & shows me how much she was loved , iknew she had a hardcore fan base but there was so much love today ya'll icant explain it all because i'd be here all day . iknow Aaliyah is looking down teary eyed because after 8 years her legacy & memory carry on & become stronger & broader by the years .

i haven't wrote in my blog lately . honestly , its because idont have anything to write about . like , iwant this blog to be personal , but not to personal; and im trying to figure out what would be too personal & not personal . im not sharing my life story w. the world . iwas thinking about just documenting my days taking pics & stuff (still haven't got those batteries , lmao .) but today iwas reading ALL of my posts from beginning to end , from the day istarted this blog . when istarted, it was def. more personal , but after the album reviews ifelt like it was turning into one of those Gossip blogs , lol i'm a young man & reading that just made me upset w. the direction this blog is going in . so basically what all that means is the reason i haven't been writing is because i dont know what i should write about . like what should i say ? music is a part of me, so iwant music to always be involved , & certain things in the entertainment industry i'd like to post here & there , but what i feel is that i've been posting to much of that stuff ; like iforgot what iwas here for . a part of me wants to start all over , but ibeen doing this for a few months now , idont wanna just get rid of it . maybe i'll just delete the far fetched stuff ? or keep everything & after idecide what iwanna do just go from there? hmm ? well bye for now . it's 2:26a.m im tired , lol .
